 Shieldaig is a family run business Steve, Dee, Sasha, Angelique are continuinally maintaining the Kennels to a high standard.
Our primary aim is to treat your Pets with the same love and care and respect as we treat our own Pets.
We like to feel our animals are happy and content during their stay with us & they look forward to returning meeting up with old friends.
- Our Kennels are cleaned to a high standard - hygene is high on our list of priority.
- 24 hour care we live and work at Shieldaig our Kennels are never left un-attended.
- 24 hrs Vetinary Care is also provided. I would like to reassure you all in the U.K. that the Vetinary care here is Spain is excellent, they all work to a high standard - so please- no more worries about Vetinary care in Spain.
- Shieldaig is a fully licensed kennels & cattery. We are listed in the Valencian Community, Registro de Núcleos Zoológicos, Nº Registro 5571 A-239, dated 11/03/2004.
 We are very proud to have gained our Núcleos Zoológicos which is a combined Licence / Health & Safety Certificate awarded only to establishments dealing with animals that comply to rules regulations & building standards as set out by the College Vetinary Surgeons & Valencian Government. It took over two years and lots of hard work, we were visited on many occations by Alicante Veterinary College Inspectors also Town Hall Inspection.
- Isolation Kennel we have an Isolation Kennel which is used where "we feel" a dog may be poorly and needs to see a Vet, where a dog needs to be kept quiet, has had surgery, or a young dog awaiting full benefit from his vaccinations.
